Registration and Enrollment

Registration of Egyptian Graduates and Foriegn Medical Graduates is undertaken on behalf of the
Department by the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University Postgraduate
Education Office located in the Administrative Building of the
Faculty.
Terms and conditions - Papers required - Fees - Date
of registration:
The type (Diploma , M.Sc., M.D.) and speciality
should be specified
The Bachelor Degree grade
should be "Good" to be registered in M.Sc. or a grade of
"Satisfactory"can be accepted provided that a grade of
"Good" is obtained in the speciality subject.
For Doctorate
registration, M.Sc. grades hould be "Good" .
Papers
required -all should be originals:
- >>Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery from an
Egyptian university, or a foreign university. Forgien medical graduates
must have their certificates validated from The Higher Council of
Universities.
- >>Internship attendance
certificate
- >>Birth certificate
- >>Acceptance of the embassy
of country of origin on registering and specifying the
entity funding tuition
- >>A copy of
candidates passport
- >>Seven recent
photos
- The student will be required to fill out security forms
with personal responsibility to provide accurate information. Final
acceptance depends upon a security clearance.
- A medical certificate from the Egyptian ministry of
health indicating that the student is free of HIV (AIDS)
- Students must present a signed statment that he/she
will be fully dedicated for a year after passing the first part to
work as a visiting resident in the speciality department in KasrAl-Ainy
hospitals to register in Diploma and M.Sc. degrees.
Registeration forms are present in Postgraduate
Affairs Office of the Vice Dean.
Prerequiste training courses:
- Certificates of Attending Medical statistics, Research
methodology, Computer Skills from the Medical Education Development
Center (MEDC)
- Certificate of English language course from English
Language Department, Faculty of Arts in Cairo University or from
Amideast Egypt before registering for the second part of the M.Sc. or
Diploma
Time to apply:
Registration starts in July for M.Sc. and Diploma Degrees
and in January & August for the Doctorate degree every year
